- Ensure overall Payroll Compliance within regulatory framework.
- Implement audit processes including development of necessary payroll reports.
- Examine payrolls processes to ensure they are up-to-date, legally compliant, and up to the highest industry standards, including wages, pay rates and tax withholdings.
- Analyse the systems, processes and structures of the existing payroll administration to identify errors and deficiencies and recommend procedure changes.
- Work closely with the payroll operations team based in India, to drive improvements and implement recommendations in response to legislation change.
- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll and/or payroll auditing.
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax regulatory requirements.
- Experience interpreting multiple industrial pay conditions.
- Ability to interpret relevant legislation, awards and compliance requirements.
- Capability to think independently, suggest improvements, analyse and interpret payroll data, identify and mitigate risk and to advocate change when necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
