The Quality Assurance Associate will implement and control the requirements for compliance with the TGA Australian code of good wholesaling practice for medicines at Medcan Australia Wholesale.
The focus of this position is ensuring compliance and requires above average attention to detail and strong commitment to completing tasks on time.
The position is permanent, based on a 38-hour work week.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Quality System: Implementation of the wholesaling quality system. Modifying procedures and practices to ensure compliance including non-conformance and change control management. Ensure compliance with state, and federal legislation.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports addressing quality issues, observations, and non-conformances. Maintaining documents including policies, procedures, protocols and records including version control, reviewing and publishing of same. Filing and archiving of documents physically and electronically
- Product Review: Review of product reports, creating of certificates of analysis. Product approval for supply.
- Complaint Management: Processing complaints according to written procedures in a timely manner.
- Record Review: Auditing of quality records for compliance with good documentation practices.
- Training Program: Administer the training program warehouse and quality personnel. Ensuring individuals training requirements are current for the duties they perform.
Qualifications & Experience / Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in administration or Quality Assurance
- Demonstrated experience working in a government regulated environment. Experience with the Office of Drug Control and Queensland Health is highly desirable.
- Effective people skills and good communication both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in team environment
- Legible hand writing
Medcan Australia requires a current National Police Check (completed within one month of commencement) and a medical fitness statement to be supplied prior to employment. Additional assessments will need to be completed as part of the application process.
