We are looking for a passionate and motivated Quality Assurance Monitor to join our team at Linley Valley Pork site in Wundowie. The successful candidate will have great communication skills and have availability to work flexible hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance of the quality management and food safety system to the highest standard
- Carry out daily food safety and quality checks within the production area to ensure that processes and product manufacture is in accordance with the documented processes
- Conduct routine and non-routine product quality tests to ensure ongoing compliance
- Ensure all non–compliances are recorded, reported and actioned
- Ensure all sampling and testing requirements are met
- Maintain records and report outcomes
- Liaise with the Production team on quality issues
- Ensure that all incidents/accidents are reported and investigated
- Encourage an excellent food safety culture by always setting an example
Your Essential Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Ausmeat standards and knowledge of food safety
- Previous experience as a Quality Assurance officer (advantageous but not essential)
- Intermediate computer skills in excel, word and outlook
- Experience with I-leader would be advantageous
- Basic / Intermediate knife skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Enthusiastic and reliable individual
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
