Intellipharm has an opening at its Milton office for a full QA tester in its PHP/JS web development team.  The role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on working within a fully automated testing process.

Intellipharm is the peak supplier of customer engagement systems and data to the Australian Pharmaceutical industry.

About the Role 

You will report to the Development Manager and work with the development team to ensure the quality and timely delivery of software. You will work principally within the Intellipharm Loyalty team, working within the development cycles and releases, with the expectation to build and maintain test automation to improve release efficiency.

Key Responsibilities 

• Obtaining and maintaining an intimate knowledge of Intellipharm’s software.
• Maintain and add to the existing suite of test automation.
• Design test documentation based on the supplied development requirements
• Lead the building and execution of automated testing scripts as part of the QA strategy
• Proactively identify software defects and failure.

Candidate Requirements  

Essential 

• A degree, graduate degree or equivalent experience in Computing Science / infotech; 
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a software quality control or software development field  
• Competency in software development or software testing theory, knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques
• Experience with change management, 
• Proficient in understanding written requirements, including use cases, specifications and requirements
• Experience with defect and issue tracking and the associated tools
• Ability to prioritise workload and deliverables within a schedule as required 
• SQL and some experience / knowledge of PHP / JS

Experience in automated testing required.
