Nelnet International delivers education and commerce platforms in the education, government, and healthcare sectors. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our FACTS School Management (FSM) Team.
About the role
The FSM Quality Assurance Tester II ensures Nelnet International FSM products are working properly and bring value for our customers effectively. Beyond testing, a key responsibility of this role is the development of documentation and training materials to assist Customer Support.
The QAT is a junior to intermediate role that works closely with the Development Teams and Customer Teams with the aim to continually improve our products while keeping to timeline.

What your day will look like
- Participate in the development and continually improve the testing program.
- Communicate the program to key stakeholders
- Participate in User Groups or Training Sessions
- Testing of software to ensure development is consistent with scope
- Testing of software in sandbox environment
- Testing of reported issues to confirm
- Coordinate with BETA test sites and Customer Support team
- Develop and implement required scripting
- Compile help documents based on customer scope and work completed
- Work with our Customer Support Team to develop user training material
About you
- Located within easy commute to Brandon Park
- Experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and Quality Assurance principles
- Excellent Logical, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A customer centric mindset
- Excellent written, verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Self-motivated and open to challenges
- Excellent time management skills
- Have a continuous improvement way of thinking
- Have a current working with children check (or willing to undergo)
Highly Desirable:
- Recent Graduate with an IT background
- Experience in QA and/or software testing
- Experience with similar products
