Role Overview:

As a QA Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. Your expertise in testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management will contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Testing Efforts: Manage and lead the testing process, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Test Strategy and Planning: Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements.
• Defect Management: Identify, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Test Automation: Drive test manual/ automation initiatives and enhance existing automated test suites.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Experience in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Understanding of test Manual/automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• of SQL for database testing.
• Working on a Data migration initiative, AU are implementing OpenText to replace multiple systems for Document Management.
• Strong experience working with OpenText and SharePoint, all manual testing
• Potentially have the opportunity to be involved in other Testing initiatives that are related to OpenText

Leadership Skills:

• Ability to lead and mentor a team of testers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Domain Knowledge:

• Familiarity with financial systems or related domains (banking, insurance, etc.).
