Partner with construction teams to educate, identify and manage quality risks in project delivery, and implement McNab Operational Quality Systems, Compliance requirements and risk management solutions.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Site Managers to understand how best to support them to create meaningful quality outcomes on their projects by anticipating the teams individual and project needs.
- Provide the team training, advice, problem-solving and hands-on support as required.
- Research and understand the implications of codes, AS, manufacturers’ specs and accreditation.
- Provide direction on how to achieve legislative and regulatory requirements and respond to changes.
- Assist in developing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
- Conducts compliance inspections and audits.
- Build relationships with subcontractors to assist in setting quality expectations, keeping all parties accountable.
About you
- Background and prior experience in commercial construction, ideally with a particular focus on industrial and multi-residential projects $10M - $100M.
- Proven experience in a similar Quality or Site Management position.
- Experience in successfully implementing quality systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to implement positive changes that contribute to the development and evolution of a quality culture within the workplace.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with guests, team members and leadership / management.
- Solid IT skills.
