The Quality Control Manager is crucial in maintaining and enhancing product integrity and ensuring compliance of construction activities within our mining industry projects. This role focuses on the systematic monitoring and evaluation of the various aspects of a project to ensure that standards of quality are being met.
This role is Full-Time and Perth CBD based and will require ad-hoc remote travel to site.
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for quality assurance that aligns with organizational goals and project objectives.
- Oversee and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring that processes adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Manage and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and oversee Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).
- Regularly evaluate company procedures and practices, identifying opportunities for improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Validate and analyse project data to identify trends, drive improvement initiatives, and report on quality metrics and outcomes.
- Oversee the trial and integration of new or modified products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead quality training sessions for site staff to ensure comprehensive understanding of quality requirements and standards.
- Participate actively in the Integrated Assurance program, leading assurance engagements where necessary.
Successful applicants will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred (Master’s or MBA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Control or quality assurance role within construction, engineering, or related industry.
- Extensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards specific to construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of implementing successful Quality Control systems in large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Quality Control software and tools, such as statistical process control or quality management software.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting, preferably with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and effective stakeholder management.
