Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively organising and prioritising tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintaining accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
  • Regularly updating the manager on task progress and promptly notifying of any issues.
  • Updating testing task lists to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and specified test methods.
  • Careful and responsible use of laboratory equipment, promptly reporting any faults.
  • Liaising with other departments and external laboratories to ensure timely testing completion.
  • Reporting results promptly upon task completion.
  • Organizing and maintaining raw data, workbooks, and documentation.
  • Upholding cleanliness, safety, and adherence to Occupational Health & Safety Policy in the work area.
  • Maintaining professionalism in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of stability results and development projects.
  • Adhering to good laboratory practices at all times.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by QC Management.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum degree qualification in Chemistry or Science related discipline
  • Experience within QC Laboratory with raw material and finished product testing. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an equivalent role
  • Willingness to learn and participate in laboratory continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong communication skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Good knowledge and ability to interpret test results 
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet daily deadlines and batch release timelines.
