Quality Control Team Leader

Opportunity for a QC professional with experience in leading a small team to take responsibility for the QC laboratory functions.As a Quality Control Team Leader you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of the manufactured pharmaceutical products. Reporting to the QC Manager you will be responsible overseeing the QC function for the following:Analysis of raw materials, finished products, printed packaging, in-process samples, and pharmaceutical samples.Performing in-process testing of Priority Bulks and First Fills during manufacture to ensure production timelines adhere to validated limits.Conducting routine testing of Stability timepoints utilizing a range of instrumental and classical wet chemical techniques.Reviewing of testing resultsPerform routine and non-routine analysis for finished product, raw materials, water, and client samples.Perform environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable)Ensure the laboratory is adequately provisioned.Generation of Certificate of AnalysisTo be successful in this role you need the following skills and attributes:Bachelor of Science or Applied Science degree in Science (Chemistry, or Microbiology), or a closely related discipline.Laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical company.Awareness of Total Quality Management (TQM), ISO systems, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
