Quality Control Technician

Cascada is seeking a Quality Control Technician.

Our rapidly expanding precast concrete business is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our dynamic and skilled team. Cascada Group manufactures and supplies a range of precast concrete products to the infrastructure, construction, and mining sectors, throughout Western Australia. Our clients include mining companies, engineers, construction companies, builders, plumbers, electricians, and architects.

The successful applicant will become a member of a supportive team with plenty of assistance and training in product knowledge and company processes.

The Role:

• Undertake daily inspections of finished product to ensure full compliance with product specifications.
• Undertake daily pre pour and post pour inspections to ensure product components are set up correctly.
• Liaise with the production manager to ensure errors identified are resolved quickly.
• Liaise with concrete testers to ensure sampling and compression testing is completed.
• Compile Manufacturers Data Records (MDRs).

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret reinforcement drawings.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
• Previous experience on infrastructure projects in a quality role.
• This is a busy role that requires someone with good organisational skills and the ability to meet daily deadlines.
