About the Role:
Every year CCEP Packaging Services Division (PSD) manufactures and supplies over 2 billion preforms and closures to the wider CCEP bottling business. The PSD quality team ensures that the preforms and closures are safe for consumers and adhere to all quality requirements.
We have an exciting opportunity to join us at our Eastern Creek facility as the Quality, Environment & Safety Manager PSD.
This role is instrumental in developing and implementing the quality, environment and safety strategies within the Packaging Services Division. The role is responsible for the following:
Defining and driving the PSD quality, environment and safety strategies
Developing a strong performing and technical quality team
Site safety lead, while coaching other leaders to strive for a zero harm workplace
Maintaining and improving the site’s quality, environment and safety management systems
Oversee quality and process improvements
Coach and train others to achieve a right first-time culture
Support customer bottling sites with packaging issues
Support the New Product Development team in introducing packaging changes
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Tertiary Science/Technical Qualification a minimum
Minimum 5 years experience in technical and/or process roles
Excellent communication skills
Proven safety accountability
Preferably experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing/Packaging Technology
Experience in HACCP, Quality Systems or Food Safety is required
Internal auditor certification is beneficial
High degree of computer literacy required
