Quality & Environmental Systems Co-ordinator

Randstad are currently partnering with a leading global manufacturing organisation based in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide who are seeking a Quality & Environmental Systems Co-ordinator to join their team on a full time basis.

Position Description
In this organisation, you will be collaborating with various areas of the business to uphold quality standards, food safety regulations, and environmental sustainability, as well as monitoring compliance with quality and environmental standards, conducting internal audits, and facilitating the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain company Quality Management System in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001.)
• Monitor and evaluate quality processes to ensure adherence to standards and continuous improvement
• Develop, implement and maintain company Food Safety Management System In accordance with ISO 22000 or appropriate food safety standards.
• Oversee food safety hazards.
• Develop, implement and maintain the company Environmental Management System in compliance with appropriate standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Monitor environmental aspects, impacts, and sustainability initiatives.
• Plan, generate and conduct regular audits of Quality Management and Environmental systems to ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.
• Manage and document Quality Management Systems, Food Safety Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
• Conduct training to enhance awareness of quality, food safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on the performance of the Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System, and Environmental Management System.
• Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators, metrics, and trends related to the Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System, and Environment Management System.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Environmental Science, Food Science and Technology).
• Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor), food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000), and environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001 Lead Auditor) is advantageous.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining QMS, FSMS and EMS in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards, food safety regulations, and environmental best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytic skills.
