AddressWe have a current opportunity for a Quality Management System (QMS) Certification Consultant, on a contract basis within the Defence sector. The role is based on an approved Defence site. The contract is for an initial 36 month period, with 3 x 12 month extension options.

DSS Skill Set: Level 2 - Quality Management - Quality Management System Audit & Certification Services
The Quality Management System Certification Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Appointment of a Lead-Auditor (Liaison Officer) who will be the central point of contact and will coordinate audit services, activities, reports and directly communicate with the Commonwealth Representative
- Provide a detailed schedule of Auditing activity
- Report on Certification Services and Quality Audits
- Complete Certification Services and Audit reports within spefcified timeframe, and where requirements are satisfied, award of a Certification of Registration
Minimum mandatory requirements:
- AGSVA Security clearance
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience to conduct the audit and/or certification program
- Thorough understanding of Quality Management principles
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations and Defence requirements to conduct the Services; and
- Proven experience and skills in conducting certification audits and reports.
