We have an exciting opportunity where you can tap into your practical accounting experience and ability to build relationships to support, guide and educate chartered accountants undergoing a CA ANZ quality review.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a driven and proactive Quality Reviewer, you will join our small, dedicated team in Sydney or Melbourne as we expand and transform our Quality Review Program. The CA ANZ quality review program focuses on assessing and understanding an accounting practice's system of quality management, it then works with the practice leaders to identify any improvements needed. Building strong and respectful relationships with key external and internal stakeholders will be important as you work with members and conduct quality reviews using our tools and methodology.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out practice reviews (onsite or remotely) for the Quality Review Program ensuring fellow members are complying with applicable regulatory standards and legislation
Reporting any findings and suggestions for improvement to the practice reviewed and communicating with Quality Review Manager on the review findings and progress
Preparing reports and results letters in accordance with CA ANZ policies and procedures
Sharing your knowledge and experience with the practices being reviewed to help them improve

To be considered for this role you will also be able to demonstrate:
More than ten years' experience in public practice(Audit and Taxation background), gained either directly through working within an accounting firm, or in a related role
A strong understanding of Australian and international standards and legal requirements, including quality and professional standards as they relate to accounting practice
Ability to apply the standards to a wide variety of client engagements undertaken by practitioner members
Highly effective business communication skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation)
Strong relationship management skills, including the ability to influence and maintain credibility with members in practice
