Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting quantitative analysis of market data to identify trading opportunities and risks.
- Developing and maintaining predictive models and algorithms to support trading strategies.
- Collaborating with traders, developers, and data scientists to implement and optimize trading algorithms.
- Performing backtesting and simulation analysis to evaluate the performance of trading strategies.
- Monitoring market conditions and assessing the impact on trading positions and portfolio risk.
- Providing quantitative support for decision-making processes and strategic initiatives within the trading team.
- Building and maintaining tools and dashboards for monitoring trading performance, risk exposure, and market dynamics.
- Researching and integrating new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance trading models and strategies.
- Conducting ad-hoc analysis and research projects to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives within the trading team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative solutions into trading platforms and systems.
- Staying abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in quantitative finance and Trading Analytics.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of trading strategies and processes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in quantitative analysis, preferably in a trading or financial services environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques, time series analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with financial markets, trading instruments, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.
