Form of workThe Package: $1,331.02 - $1,470.74 gross per week + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full-time – 35 hours per week including weekends, public holidays and afterhours when events are scheduled. Flexible work arrangements may apply.
Are you a creative individual with an attention for detail and a passion for events? QPRC is looking for a Community Events Officer to join our team in delivering exciting and engaging events across the region.
In this role you will:
- Be a key contributor to the coordination and delivery of Council’s Community Events.
- Participate in the planning and execution of all aspects of our event delivery including budgets, marketing, logistics and evaluation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of events across Queanbeyan-Palerang.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant qualifications and/or working experience in events management or similar.
- Has effective communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management skills, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Has a proven ability to provide a high level of customer service.
