Senior Chemist
Fulltime Permanent position
Monday to Friday
Camden location, moving to Marsden park in October
Up to $95,000 base salary
Responsibilities
- Lead a technical team 3 people
- Undertake and plan analysis workflow, from sample preparation to reporting
- Maintain NATA accreditation, as well as pursue accreditation for new tests
- Expand testing scope of the Chemistry Department.
- Operate and maintain instruments
- Ability to assess analytical data, based on QC limits
- Write and review laboratory documentation
- Maintaining sufficient consumables and ordering stock in Chemistry lab, such as standards, chemical reagents
- Experienced chemist in animal feed and/or food testing by both manual and instrumental methods
- Water testing experience
- Knowledge of QA/QC requirements within a NATA accredited laboratory.
- GCMS and HPLC experience advantageous
- Experience in method development, including validation and verification
