The Package: $509.60 - $563.14 gross per week + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 2 of the QPRC Salary System 2022).

Are you a motivated individual looking to make a difference and wanting to work closely with and give back to your local community? Council are looking for a part-time Learn to Swim Instructor to facilitate swimming lessons at the QPRC Aquatics Centre.
Position Overview: As a Learn to Swim instructor, you will be primarily responsible for supervising and educating patrons visiting QPRC Aquatics through swimming lessons. You will also be assisting our Aquatics Program Officer in coordinating QPRC Aquatics programs, ensuring that they are provided to the local community and its visitors with a professional and safe experience.
Who we are looking for: The successful candidate will have previous practical experience in Learn to Swim/ Stroke Correction programs, as well as exceptional level of customer service. A current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and a current Senior First Aid Certificate is essential for this role.
Working with us: The successful candidate will be joining the organisation during an exciting stage of economic development with numerous ongoing projects within the Queanbeyan-Palerang Region.
