TOW TRUCK & SERVICE VAN DRIVER REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START AVALIABLE.
As a RACV Roadside Assistance Tow Truck and Service Van Operator, your job is to help stranded customers who have broken down get back on the road as soon as practical. If a customer vehicle needs to be assisessed by a qualified mechanic, we can tow their vehicle to our workshop, or be taken to another repairer of their choice.
The Roadside AssistService Van Operator will attend the breakdown and liaise with the Tow Truck Driver to orchestrate a tow where applicable.
Your duties will also include Emergency Roadside AssistTow Truck and Service Van works, attending breakdowns when required
You will be working to an agreed rotating on-call roster system. Which will provide you with the flexibility to be home-based but able to respond to members calls within specified time frames.
Ideally we are seeking someone who is local to the Kilmore and Surrounding Suburbs Region, who knows the area well to keep the response times to callouts at a minimum. On occassions, you may be requested to cover the Seymour area.
All training will be provided for the right applicant, however you must have a Medium Rigid Licence as a minimum certification. Alternatively this certification is not required if you are performing Emergency Roadside Assist in the Service Van only.
You will have flexibility during your shift so you will not be stuck in a 9 to 5 job!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a Tow Truck if applying for the Tow Truck position as well.
- Attending breakdowns in the Kimore and surrounding suburbs regions; on-call from your home address, 6am to 6pm in the Service Van on a rotating shift.
- Communicate with the on-call roadside patrolman
- Carry out roadside battery replacement, tyre changes, replemish fluids, lock outs etc.when working in the Service Van attending breakdowns
- Strong time management
