About the role

GenesisCare Oncology Queensland has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full-time or part-time Radiation Oncologist.

We have well-established Sunshine Coast practice and we are looking to develop the Medical team over the coming 6-12 months. Our Sunshine Coast centres are co-located with Montserrat Cancer Care at Buderim and adjacent to Nambour General Hospital at Nambour. The practice operates on a Varian platform and an Eclipse planning system and uses the Mosaiq Oncology Information System. In addition to VMAT/IMRT and DIBH techniques, we offer a comprehensive stereotactic service (SABR/SRS).

As part of the GenesisCare Oncology Queensland network, you will be working collaboratively with a group of Radiation Oncologists in Queensland and Nationally. State-wide educational meeting, chart rounds and opportunity for peer to peer collaboration. Our senior clinicians act in a mentoring role for all junior colleagues.

The key focus of a Consultant Radiation Oncologist will be to provide safe best practice of radiation oncology treatment.

As a clinical leader of the team your ability to effectively communicate and partner with the team will be required. We're looking for someone who has:

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
• Holds Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiation Oncologists (RANZCR)
