Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our team in Queensland. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will be responsible for the evaluation, management, and treatment of cancer patients using cutting-edge radiation therapy techniques. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide the highest standard of care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations to evaluate and recommend radiation therapy treatment plans.
• Administer radiation therapy treatments with precision and care.
• Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other specialists to design and optimize treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to ongoing studies and advancements in radiation oncology.
• Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialist qualifications in Radiation Oncology.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent certification.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
