GenesisCare has a fantastic opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist to join our team in the beautiful regional town of Shepparton (2 hours from Melbourne).
GenesisCare, Shepparton works in partnership with Goulburn Valley Health, offering a seamless, personalised cancer care service. Our Shepparton team aim to offer high-quality, dedicated patient care, delivered via a multidisciplinary team model. We offer modern cancer treatment and technology, personalised treatment plans, and strive to provide rapid access to consultation and treatment for patients, wherever possible.
The practice operates on a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator with an Eclipse planning system and Mosaiq Oncology Information System. Currently the Linac is capable of VMAT, IMRT, OBI and DIBH, as well as SABR and stereotactic cranial treatment. As part of the GenesisCare Oncology network, you will be working collaboratively with a group of Radiation Oncologists with weekly State-wide educational meetings and chart rounds.
The key focus of the position will be to provide clinical care and daily management of associated multidisciplinary patient care to ensure efficient delivery of high quality radiation oncology treatment.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiation Oncologists (RANZCR) including sub-specialty training and recognition in Radiation Oncology.
- Experience in a high level of competence in clinical Radiation Oncology and demonstrated participation in CME since qualification.
- Can demonstrate right to live and work in Australia
