PROCORP Rigging & Construction Pty Ltd is a growing telecommunications company, delivering quality turnkey mobile solutions for Australia's leading communications providers. We are seeking experienced Radio Communication Technicians in wireless industry on a permanent full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and integrate Ericsson, Nokia, and Motorola wireless equipment as per customer requirement.
- Install and commission Microwave Technologies (Ceragon, NEC, Ericsson, and Nokia)
- Install and commission of DC Rectifiers (Eaton, Eltek and Huawei), Batteries, DC Power Distribution and Alarm Wiring.
- Perform troubleshooting and rectifying issues.
- Perform Feeder Sweep, PIM, RTWP and DTF tests.
- Study and interpret technical drawings and provide necessary advice on the design to Customers.
- Completion documents
- Ensure OH&S compliance.
- Maintain and adhere to all policies, procedures, and complete appropriate documentation.
- Take responsibility for tools, plant, and test equipment.
- Install antenna, RRU, MHAs and feeders.
Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience. Must have strong RF Experience, PIM testing, Sweep testing and Fibre Splicing
- Experienced in Microwave technologies is preferred.
- Ability to read designs and drawings.
- Strong Quality and OH&S experience
- Positive thinking and teamwork spirit. Flexible to support other team members to achieve their goals.
- Flexibility to work outside usual business hours including weekends and nights where necessary, to ensure client expectations are met.
- A proactive approach, always looking for better and more innovative ways to complete installation works.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel & Outlook
- Good communication skills
- Willing and able to work away from home from time to time
- Ability to work from an EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
- Ability to read and follow Standards, Guidelines and Method of Procedures (MOP)
Required qualification.
- NSW Construction card (White Card)
- RF/EME awareness (RadHaz)
- Valid Driver’s License (able to dive manual vehicles and tow trailers)
- First Aid with CPR
- Tower Rescue
- Telstra, Optus, TPG, NSW Telco Authority and NBN Induction
- Work At Heights (WAH) certificate
- High Risk License for Dogging, Rigging and EWP
- Telecommunication Engineering background
