The Role:

As the Radiographer In-Charge for our Gatton and Plainlands sites, you will oversee and coordinate radiography services at both locations. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Area Manager with the day-to-day operations of both sites, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care across all modalities, including CT, X-Ray, OPG, and soon MRI. You will be actively involved in the installation and development of the MRI department, contributing to the expansion of our services and enhancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage radiography operations at Gatton and Plainlands sites.
• Assist the Area Manager with the day-to-day operations of both sites, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care across all modalities.
• Supervise and support radiography staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Assist the Area Manager in the installation and setup of MRI equipment.
• Participate in the development and growth of the MRI department, including protocol development, staff training, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and professional development.

Requirements:

• Qualified radiographer with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated experience in radiography operations and leadership.
• Experience or interest in MRI imaging preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
