Immediate Start for Support Worker Roles available in Ipswich.
As a Support Worker, you will become a valued part of a dedicated and Compassionate team, who believe in providing outstanding service to clients in need.
About the Role
The successful candidate/s will need to have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Supporting our clients in their home, community, and respite care accommodation with:
Complex support - Behavior/Medical/Mental Health.
Domestic Assistance
Personal Care
Meal Preparation
Community Participation
Excursions - Group Activities
Transport
All other aspects of daily living as per their NDIS Plan
About you:
Attitude to go above and beyond with compassion and integrity
Work unsupervised
Desire to work with people with a wide range of interests, complexity and abilities
Uphold the National Disability Standards
Demonstrate good listening skills and build rapport and trust between clients
Experience working in the Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Sector
Mandatory Requirements:
Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability, Mental Health (Or working towards)
Huntington's Disease experience (desirable, training provided)
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Valid driver’s license (preferrable manual)
Reliable Vehicle
Comprehensive Car Insurance
First Aid certificate
CPR certificate
Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Modules (or willing to obtain)
Smart phone with reliable internet
Able to support with Inactive sleepover shifts.
