The Medical Imaging Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Radiographer – Trainee to join their team on a casual basis.

Your opportunity
The Radiographer - Trainee role performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.
Students are employed casually to accommodate the commitments required by their studies while gaining pre-registration exposure to the workplace. Students contribute to Medical Imaging service delivery model within the Mackay Base Hospital under the delegation and practice supervision of a Radiographer in the provision of effective patient care.

Our Medical Imaging Service is based at the Mackay Base Hospital and provides patient centred Medical Imaging services, seven days a week.
