How to apply and for mandatory requirements regarding this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityThe Trainee Radiographer role performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.Students are employed casually to accommodate the commitments required by their studies while gaining pre-registration exposure to the workplace. Students contribute to Medical Imaging service delivery model within the Mackay Base Hospital under the delegation and practice supervision of a Radiographer in the provision of effective patient care.About the TeamOur Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including, General Radiography (CR) and (DR), Computed Tomography (CT) (Dual Source), Ultrasound, Theatre II, Interventional Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).Visit: .About our Hospital and Health Servicehas 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
