We are currently looking for an experienced Radiographer to join our patient centred practice in Craigie. Lumus puts our patient care and experience at the heart of what we do, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with a diverse mix of patients within a private clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in CT and cannulation.

We are offering this position on a Permanent, Full Time basis which includes 4 weeks of paid annual leave and paid personal leave in addition to a number of other benefits listed further below.

Our Craigie clinic is open Monday to Friday, from 8am - 4pm - no weekend or evening shifts required.

Responsibilities:

• Performing basic radiography in different modalities
• Providing a high standard of care and service to our patients and radiologists by displaying accurate, friendly, responsive, courteous and effective communication
• Performing high-quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols within nominated timeframes
• Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed at all times in the workplace

Requirements:

• Demonstrated abilities in providing patient care and customer service delivery standards
• Experience in General X-ray and Dental radiography
• Experience in non-contrast and contrast CT including cannulation.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
• The ability to train and coach junior staff
• Demonstrated understanding of WH&S practices
• University or equivalent qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology
• Current Australian Institute of Radiography Statement of Accreditation or other qualification recognized within Australia
• State Radiation License
• AHPRA Registration
