We are currently in search of a motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Loganholme and Rochedale clinics on a part time basis.
The role
Receptionist/Administration officers have a very important role at Pulse Radiology. You will be the first person patients meet when they engage with our clinic. With exceptional service, underpinned by compassion and attention to detail, you will directly enhance the patient experience. Working primarily with our radiologists, technical staff and referrers, you will also receive, manage and action phone bookings walk-in patients and patient referrals for both of our clinics.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage and action calls for bookings and walk in patients
- Deliver exceptional care and support to patients and external stakeholders
- Meet quality standards, and timelines, whilst delivering excellent customer service
- Provide clear preparations for scans and general information to patients
- Liaise with external GP’s, specialists and their staff
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Accurate data entry into the patient management system
- Providing general administrative support to the team
- Patient billing, Medicare and end of day banking reconciliation
- Collecting consent forms and updating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Complete daily tasks efficiently and accurately

Our receptionist/administration officers will be sensitive to the needs of patients and will support their wellbeing through timely and considered communication. Ideally you will bring the following:
- A track record of delivering caring and compassionate customer service
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Exceptional computer skills
- Flexibility to work across both Rochedale and Loganholme
While prior experience in Radiology is not mandatory, candidates with backgrounds in Medical, or leadership roles in hospitality/retail sectors are preferred. You will be provided with training.
Please note: The hours and days will fluctuate from Monday to Friday - the candidate must be available for shifts spanning over 7+ hours, from 7:30am starts to 5pm finishes, this position would be a minimum of 2 days, with the opportunity for more. There will be an opportunity to work Saturdays on rotation once trained.
