The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA) is an Alliance partnership between Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia, AECOM Australia and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The Alliance is delivering the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project which will, elevated three sections of the rail line and remove six level crossings, create 5 new elevated train stations and create new publicly accessible spaces within the rail corridor.

We are recruiting for a Rail Safety Coordinator on a Full Time basis to work in partnership with our Project Team to manage a broad range of Rail Safety activities.
Reporting to our Rail Safety Manager and based in our Bentley office, this role will see you:
- Oversee our project Rail Safety activities with respect to standards, processes and policies
- Monitor work sites within the rail corridor and/or rail construction zones to identify and respond to potential safety hazards including corrective actions
- Collaborate and regularly engage with our teams, workforce, subcontractors and 3rd parties providers to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
- Implement and maintain a track access strategy to minimise disruption to construction activity
- Develop and implement a Rail Safety system of work for offline track construction project wide
- Assist and facilitate ONRSR Rail Safety inspections and supporting audits
Your background
Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must, backed by strong communications skills. You may also have:
- PTA Protection Officer (Level 3) with Person Responsive for Electrical Safety (PRES)
- Previous experience in in a Rail Safety Systems role
- Knowledge of track access, ONRSR regulations, Rail Safety standards and ALCA concepts of operations
