R&D Chemist

What you'll do:

• Be a safety champion: Foster a positive safety culture by following protocols, reporting hazards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the highest quality: Conduct rigorous testing and inspections, adhere to GMP and quality standards, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget: Contribute to R&D strategy, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Minimize costs: Identify opportunities to reduce waste, implement sustainable practices, and develop cost-effective products.
• Be a team player: Share your knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

What you bring:

• A degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Experience as an R&D Chemist or Desire to be trained in household, personal care, or related products.
• Ability to translate concepts from lab to manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management mastery and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Keen eye for detail and strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Desire to learn and grow your manufacturing knowledge.

Bonus points if you have:

•  Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience transferring knowledge into a commercially viable production environment.
