You are a self-starter who desires to leverage finance & analytics skills to drive commercial outcomes. In addition, you will be detail-oriented and able to work in a dynamic commercial environment. This role requires a continuous improvement mindset, such as improving robotic process automation solutions and SAP architectures. You will interact with many stakeholders, internal & external, so good organisational skills and time management will be critical.
Day-to-day:
Your daily and weekly responsibilities will include managing complex balance sheets, monthly reconciliations, coordinating and presenting balance sheet reviews, completing detailed analysis as requested, and self-driven risk and opps reviews to ensure adequate balance sheet position.
You will translate requests from internal commercial teams into financial outcomes, set up rebate structures, assist with developing new rebate initiatives (ensuring internal controls compliance), and ensure rebate calculations adhere to conditions in the customer’s commercial terms. Also, provide effective sales and rebate reporting to internal stakeholders and/or customers upon request.
Manage junior rebate analyst, ensuring critical payment deadlines are met, questions or queries are resolved promptly, and that workload is manageable. Maintain master data of rebate agreements in SAP and reporting of active rebate structures and work to continuously improve controls, processes and robotic automation solutions. You will promptly assist customers with advanced rebate queries and month-end close activities.
Who you are:
Experienced or qualified accountant with prior financial and commercial accounting exposure.
Understanding of balance sheet operations and flows.
Self-starter with the ability to think outside the box.
Strong excel and data management competencies
Stakeholder management experience.
