The role will be responsible for galvanizing and accelerating Optus strategic initiative and partner relationships across the enterprise. As part of the team, you will engage with collaborators throughout the organisation to facilitate alignment, develop and maintain governance structures and collaborate to influence internally, driving partnership objectives and central initiatives. You will develop an understanding of industry issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Optus strategic objective through mutual value creation opportunities with partners!
Your day in the life at Optus,

-Lead and develop Optus’ most critical partnerships, focusing on governing and implementing a strategy to deepen Optus’ relationships with such partners and enable the optimisation of existing and launch new offerings for Optus customers.
-Lead and balance vision and strategy of Optus’ future partner ecosystem with executional rigour to deliver improved and beneficial commercial opportunities and financial outcomes.
-Collaborate and influence internally to create and implement an effective cadence of governance and alignment across multiple touchpoints to ensure partner accountability and efficient service and delivery is provided freeing executives to elevate discussions to key aspects and future opportunities.
-Deliver partner insights and feedback supplying to industry narratives and a targeted approach to opportunities to further Optus ambitions.
-Develop a deep understanding and curate an influential partner ecosystem to generate opportunities in support of key Optus pivotal initiatives or new to market exclusivity through partners.

-Experience working across organisational strategy, business development, establishing maintaining and using Strategic Partnerships, designing strategies to engage across enterprise, and forging commercial relationships to build innovative products, solutions, and experiences.
-Influencing across different functions and levels in complex cross-functional environments in a matrix approach to achieve desired outcomes. Experience working with and advising executives
-Executive presence and exceptional interpersonal communications skills with an ability to rapidly build trust and represent Optus effectively in working with executives.
-Influencing, negotiating, enterprise leadership and leading a “virtual” matrix like environment.
-Confidence in navigating complex organisations both at a partner and internally for Optus and the Singtel Group.
