Located within the front-of-house reception area, this position offers a dynamic opportunity for an individual seeking to begin and develop their administrative skills in a supportive and community-focused environment.
This 12-month traineeship not only involves on-the-job training, but also includes structured study leading to the attainment of a Certificate III in Business.
As a member of the Corporate Services Team, the Reception & Administration Trainee will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere by greeting clients and visitors both in person and over the phone.
In addition to providing exceptional customer service, the trainee will engage in a variety of general administrative tasks, ensuring the reception, kitchens and office areas remain organised and inviting.
The role extends to maintaining office supplies and gradually expands to encompass higher-level administrative support across our various programs as the trainee becomes more confident and familiar with the organisation.
Expected commencing salary of $49,851.34 per annum plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.
Essential role-specific skills, knowledge and experience
Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Suite.
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
Basic to intermediate organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Willingness to undertake Certificate III in Business.
