About the opportunity:

The ASX is seeking a passionate and organised Client Floor Reception and Catering Coordinator to join our National Facilities team in Sydney. Working closely with a small team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients using our meeting rooms and event spaces in Exchange Square and the Auditorium. This is a dynamic role where you'll wear multiple hats, from coordinating bookings and greeting guests to managing catering and ensuring smooth event execution.

What you'll do:

  • Be the first impression: Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
  • Master of logistics: Coordinate meeting room bookings, advise users on availability, and liaise with event organisers on setups and requirements.
  • Catering connoisseur: Assist with catering requests, liaise with suppliers, and ensure refreshments are ready on time and exceed expectations.
  • Multitasking pro: Manage multiple priorities, maintain daily statistics, and address room issues promptly.
  • Team player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and executive assistants to ensure smooth operations.
  • Barista extraordinaire: Brew delicious hot and cold beverages to keep guests energised.
  • Go-getter attitude: Step up to cover the Events and Catering Services Manager when needed, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

What you bring:

  • 2-3 years of reception experience in a high-end setting, like a 5-star hotel.
  • 1 year of barista experience essential
  • Proven ability to manage meeting rooms, bookings, and emails efficiently.
  • A track record of delivering exceptional customer service with a smile.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Experience working in a team environment and handling confidential information.

Bonus points for:

  • Supervising small events and catering experiences.
  • Working confidently with all levels of management.
  • A current first aid certificate.
