An exciting opportunity is currently available to join Walshs Practice as our front of house receptionist. We consider this a pivotal role at Walshs as you will be responsible for presenting the first impression and primary contact point to our valued clients, client on-boarding, as well as working alongside the team to provide administration support to deliver an exceptional client experience.
What you will do:
- Manage inbound phone calls
- Assist with the management of Walshs enquiries emails
- Assist with the coordination of meeting bookings, reminders to clients, and meeting rooms
- Organize client coffees, and greet clients in reception
- Ensuring the kitchen remains stocked with necessary items – ordering through Woolworths, unpacking and monitoring
- Collect the physical mail from the PO box, scanning this into our system, and delegating accordingly
- Posting of any physical mail / couriering items
- Assist with the management of referrals for the firm
- Collecting supplies as needed for the firm.
- Assist with the organization of kitchen – keeping it clean and tidy for staff.
- Complete exchanges, process queries, and manage client expectations in a timely and professional manner.
- Support other members of our administrative team when capacity allows
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
What you need:
- Secondary education is required
- Experience in a similar client-facing/reception role is preferred, but not required
- Intermediate computer literacy skills and talent for technology.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn
- Happy to take on any task
- Polite, friendly, and self-assured attitude.
- Skills in multitasking and good time-management.
- Knowledge of the accounting and financial planning industry an advantage
