As a Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer and administration services that meet the needs of a broad range of stakeholders, including clients, employees, contractors, partner organisations and suppliers.
Please note, this is a full time, permanent role based in our Brisbane office.
Your part in our UnitingCare team
- Provide switchboard services across UnitingCare Queensland, including answering all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate staff member / service group throughout the state.
- Visitor co-ordination including ‘meet and greet’ of clients
- Iissuing building access cards and associated car-parking and sign-in requirements as required.
- Provide mail and courier services
- Book teleconference lines as requested.
- Co-ordinate UCQ pool car bookings ensuring relevant forms and lincence checks have been completed.
- Co-ordinate marketing banner bookings for internal and external events.
- Provide Board, ELT and Committee meeting assistance including support with set up and pack up of meetings.
- Provide events assistance including coordination of room bookings.
- Provide meeting and training room assistance including ensuring the rooms are clean and tidy, correct furniture and stationery is in each room, audio visual equipment is functioning and escalation of maintenance faults as required.
- Co-ordinate Wellness Room maintenance.
What makes a difference for us?
- Reception experience ideally gained in a large office environment
- Competency with computer systems including MS Office suite.
- Knowledge and/or experience of event co-ordination would be an advantage but not essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with a strong work ethic
