About Us
Diagnostic Imaging for Women (DIfW) is a specialist women's imaging centre that offers medical imaging services including digital low-dose mammography, obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound plus a range of image-guided interventional procedures. DIfW is part of Integral Diagnostics Group (IDX) and Imaging Queensland (IQ), who currently operate quality assured practices that provides Medical Imaging and Radiology services from Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Central Queensland.
Located on the Queen Street Mall, close to public transport, shopping and entertainment, you will be working in a specialist practice that has been beautifully designed with high-end finishes and prides itself on offering the highest level of patient care.
The clinic has a dedicated and loyal patient following thanks to the specialist level services offered and the patient-centred approach of our staff. Our patients frequently compliment the administrative and technical staff on the level of service and care that they provide.
About You
- You will pride yourself on providing excellent customer service and are seeking a role as specialist Medical Receptionist in a caring, patient-focused clinical environment.
- Previous experience in a private radiology practice is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule and associated rules highly desirable
- A happy and positive personality
- A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to assist patients attending our facility both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
As the reception team are the first point of contact for our valued patients, we place the utmost importance on ensuring our frontline team embody our professionalism, patient-centred work ethic and friendly culture.
About the Role
Reporting to the Clerical Manager, your duties will include:
- Providing excellent service to our patients and referring doctors
- Answering phone calls and maintaining the appointment calendars
- Ensuring that patients are offered a seamless service with correct prep, quotes and appointment times.
- Billing patients, processing invoices to Medicare, use of EFTPOS machine
- Solely open and close practices on a rostered basis with other members of the admin team.
