Key Reception responsibilities
- Being our First Impressions Specialist for new patient enquiries!
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments for orthodontic consultations, treatments, and follow-up visits.
- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries regarding appointments, billing, and general information about orthodontic procedures.
- Managing patient records, including updating personal information and treatment histories.
- Handling administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, processing payments, and managing insurance claims.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the reception area and waiting room.
Your new day to day in the clinic 🕙:
- You will be chairside assisting our Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapists.
- First point of contact in the clinic for patients and their families, so a warm and approachable manner is important
- Infection control (sterilisation)
- Making orthodontic retainers
- Handling and preparing dental instruments for treatments
- Providing clear verbal patient treatment instructions
- Ensuring treatment areas are kept pristine
- Maintaining detailed patient records
How you will make us smile 😄:
We are looking for a mature-minded individual with transferrable skills.
Dental assisting experience would be highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who likes making people smile as much as we do and we’d like to find an amazing long-term employee, someone who wants to see our patient's treatment from start to finish and relish in their happiness once treatment is complete!
The finer details:
8 to 9 day fortnight
No weekends or late nights!
Hours: 8.15am to 5.15pm (please note that every second Thursday we finish at 5.45pm)
Salary: negotiable depending on skills and experience.
