Receptionist /Concierge

The Opportunity

An exciting new position has become vacant within the Mike Carney Toyota Group. 

This Receptionist / concierge positions, with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.  You will need to have shown in previous positions that you have a high level of achieving individual and team goals. You will also have an aptitude to learn about the industry and sales processes.

This guest facing frontline role, you will be responsible for pre qualifying and assisting our guests with their vehicle purchasing decisions, upholding our guest centric culture.

In less busy periods you will also convert sales leads and qualify, quality leads and follow-ups, with a well-crafted telephone manner, before handing those warm leads over to the sales team, by appointment.

You will be a motivated self-starter and be able to work autonomously for periods of time but also be part of the greater team structure to achieve the desired outcome. You will be impeccably well presented in appearance.

Reception / Concierge Job Responsibilities

• Meet and greet all walk-in guests/prospects/Guests, qualifying reason for visit.
• Introduce Guests/prospects to sales representatives, as required or inform sales manager that prospect is in dealership.
• Handle incoming phone calls and emails and transfer to appropriate person
• Offer refreshments to Guests and assist sales representatives providing refreshments to prospects, as required
• Accurate Data Entry and Record Keeping
• Actively participate in dealership Kaizen activities
• Adhere to dealership and Toyota business practices 
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal development
• Complete other adhoc duties as requested by management

Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• High level of communication, through questioning techniques
• Be able to qualify a need - training given
• Be able to learn and tell a story
• Time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills
• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent telephone, written and face to face communication skills
• Prior experience in a customer facing or reception position or hospitality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Motivated self-starter
• Friendly & Professional outlook with a high level of personal presentation
