Who Are We?
At Queensland Scoliosis Clinics, we're dedicated to providing specialised care for individuals with scoliosis. With our headquarters located in Southport on the Gold Coast and our two recently opened clinics in Brisbane, we offer a range of services including physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercises, scoliosis bracing, and individualised rehabilitation programs.

What's in it for You?
You will be the face of our reception area, meeting and greeting patients and ensuring the smooth running of the clinic.
- 26.5 hours per week
- Permanent position with a competitive hourly rate plus superannuation.
- Start date: Tuesday 23rd April 2024 (training + supervision provided)
- Must be available to work these shifts:
- Tuesdays 11am-6:30pm
- Wednesdays 11am-6:30pm
- Fridays 11am-5pm
- Saturdays 7:30am-3pm (paid Saturday rate)

Your typical day could include the following tasks:
- Welcoming, greeting and connecting with clients with a warm smile- first impressions matter and you will be the face of our brand!
- Reception and administrative duties including taking phone calls, handling enquiries, booking patient appointments and processing payments (including handling cash, processing Medicare and private health claims using a HICAPS machine and online portals)
- Ensuring the clinic space is clean and tidy
- Acquiring and uploading X-ray images + reports from various facilities
- Ensuring patient bookings, therapist diaries and inventory are well managed

- Organised and adaptive: willing to evolve the clinic systems and ensure our practice runs smoothly and consistently each day
- Tech savvy: knows their way around a computer
- Eager to grow, learn and adapt in a collaborative environment
Desirable
- You have a minimum of 2 years experience as a receptionist, ideally in a medical setting so you are familiar with Medicare Benefits Schedule, Private Health Funds, using a HICAPS machine etc
- Proficient with Mac computers/systems (eg, Google Drive, Google sheets, Pages + practice management softwares)
