The Opportunity
As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments.
- Providing chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists, including instrument handling, X-ray assistance, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Managing patient records and updating electronic medical files.
- Welcoming and registering patients, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries.
- Coordinating patient flow in the reception area.
- Assisting with billing and processing insurance claims.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing patient questions and concerns.
Our successful candidate
Ideally, you will possess:
- While prior experience in a dental practice or healthcare setting is preferred, it is not essential.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and dental software.
- A commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy.
