There is a well-equipped workshop on the premises.
Heron Eyecare requires a compassionate, honest, efficient person to work with our experienced optometrists and three support staff. An understanding of professional conduct is of utmost importance. The ability to work as part of a team is necessary for the position.
This is a permanent part-time position. Hours will be a 31 hour week Monday to Thursday.
Experience in reception work and the ability to learn new skills would be a considerable advantage. Some concepts in the job require an understanding of basic maths and the ability to think logically. The position requires an understanding and use of Optomate Touch software for optometry practices and the successful applicant will be trained in this area.
Because of the many and varied day to day tasks involved in the position, time management and multitasking skills are essential. The position requires a person who can follow through and finish each job.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Applicants will be required to provide a police check.
An annual salary package would be negotiated according to qualification and experience.
