Position: Receptionist/Optical Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanour
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Perform preliminary testing before patients see the optometrist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and retail areas
- Support optical staff with frame selection
- Handle inquiries over the phone and in person with professionalism and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or optical setting preferred (But not necessary)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic computer software and ability to learn new systems
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
