Australis Facilities Management (AFM) is a boutique facilities management specialist provider that is privately owned and operated. Originating in the year 2000 to provide support to select few clients, AFM has grown to provide consulting, support and direct delivery of FM services across the public and private sectors.
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Reception Attendant in Penrith. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate AFM’s values whilst delivering excellent service provision to the Client, their customers, occupants, and visitors as part of the dedicated facilities team.
Duties include:
- Be the first point of contact for the property
- Liaise with tenants, visitors, contractors, couriers on arrival at building and provide direction as required
- Appointed as Chief Fire Warden and be responsible for the upkeep of the building emergency procedures
- Review presentation and cleanliness of the property and ensure that the front of house is maintained at a high standard
- Management of the visitor and property access systems and keys
- Management of parking allocation
- Management of the site inductions
- Supporting building management in the operation of the property as required
- Respond to and administer tenant requests using the building workflow system

- Demonstrating effectiveness in a similar role
- Being able to work autonomously within the delegated authority level
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with all stakeholders
- Competent PC literacy for typical software package used for administration, communication and scheduling
