Recruitment consultant - Allied Health

MARS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Healthcare division in Perth, working within a high performing specialist recruitment team and providing a high level of service to our Allied Health clients. We are expanding our team due to the ongoing success of this business division. As part of our fast-paced agency environment, you will play a crucial role in connecting job-seekers with hiring managers. We are looking for someone with comprehensive experience in end-to-end recruitment.

This full-time position will be based in our stunning offices in Perth CBD, offering a picturesque view of the Swan River. We provide competitive annual remuneration (negotiable based on skills), superannuation, and one of the best commission structures in the industry.

In this role, you will oversee an established desk with existing clients, candidates, and roles. The position has been created due to business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Generate business opportunities by developing relationships with clients and candidates.
• Create targeted advertising material for various roles.
• Liaise with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process.
• Conduct shortlisting and interviewing of potential candidates.
• Perform reference checks.
• Market our services to prospective clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Take ownership of the full recruitment process, from planning to sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
• Manage and update the internal database.
• Develop and manage your own client portfolio while sourcing the most suitable candidates.
• Provide quality advice to candidates regarding jobs and career opportunities.
• Deliver recruitment and labor-hire solutions to clients.
• Negotiate successful outcomes for both candidates and clients.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Recruitment consultant in an agency setting.
• Focus on developing client relationships rather than solely relying on sales and cold calling.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Performance-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of human nature and the ability to match the needs of both clients and candidates.
