Recruitment Consultant – Richmond, VIC
Creative Natives, a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the Marketing space, is seeking a permanent, full-time Recruitment Consultant with a minimum 2 years of experience to be based in Richmond, inner Melbourne, with a competitive base salary of $80,000 plus super.
As a Consultant at Creative Natives, you are responsible for managing the full end-to-end recruitment process, with support of the MD & GM. Working closely with our clients to understand their hiring needs, building strong and trusted relationships, bringing in new business and matching the right people to the right opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Client engagement and management - attend and contribute to client meetings and briefs. You’re a trusted advisor to our clients, giving them guidance on talent
acquisition strategies and providing market intel.
Lead generation - generate client conversations for yourself and the business.
Candidate sourcing and evaluation - conduct in-depth conversations and interviews to determine a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Talent pipeline development - maintain your own robust network of candidates to proactively build a talent pipeline for current and future needs.
LinkedIn Recruiter - create LinkedIn Recruiter projects and manage the full project cycle.
Candidate presentation - present qualified candidates internally to Senior Consultants and externally to clients, including detailed candidate profiles and assessment summaries.
Compliance and documentation - ensure all recruitment activities comply with
legal requirements, including reviewing T&C’s and sending onto clients for completion.
Database - ensure the information in the database is relevant and up to date and
all candidate, client and role information is entered accurately and efficiently.
Negotiation - negotiate between clients and candidates to close the offer and role.
References - contact candidate references and provide details back to the client.
Market intel - provide insights into market conditions and the hiring landscape to clients, candidates and internally back to the business.
Management - work with Consultants and Junior Consultants when required and manage communication and workflow with them.
Events - attend industry events and participate in speaking opportunities when required.
Meetings - attend internal meetings and 1:1’s and complete performance reviews.
Personal branding - build your personal brand on LinkedIn by posting a minimum five times a week, using the Creative Natives brand and style.
Website - post open roles on the company website.
Marketing - add top candidates to the talent spreadsheet for the bi-weekly talent showcase email, help with the creation of retained job videos and support with marketing initiatives where needed.
Leadership - demonstrate leadership qualities and leading internally and externally by example.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a strong track record of successful placements.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in conducting candidate assessments and interviews.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.
