It’s #excitingtimes at Sprint People HQ! We’re looking to expand our close-knit team and are seeking a super positive, professional, and career-driven Office Support recruiter to manage and grow our temporary desk.
Approaching our 20th year in business, Sprint People opened its doors in 2005 with the objective of offering exceptional service within the recruitment industry. As you would already be aware, there are hundreds of recruitment firms out there so why join us?
For starters, we maintain very high standards and pride ourselves treating people with respect, winning fantastic clients by being ‘real’ and always behaving ethically and honestly. Basically, our day is structured around offering great service, interacting with fantastic people, and being socially savvy recruiters – whilst ensuring we are laughing at least 90% of the time (that’s your first KPI).
Sure some of the processes are the same eg. building relationships through effective interviewing, developing new business and maintaining existing relationships, sourcing exceptional talent that our clients cannot access as well as all of the admin that goes with that (creating candidate reports, updating the database etc etc).
However, we do everything with a sense of drive and passion that is quite unique. At the end of the day, we are still running a business and we all work hard, but there is a fun element to everything we do.
The Temp Desk is the lifeblood of any recruitment agency. It’s fast paced, requires a dedicated approach to caring for people and a confidence to ascertain the right match of skills for every client. It’s also extremely rewarding as you watch the numbers grow and continue to earn commission which in turn can set you up for a lifetime of financial freedom.
You’ll have worked in recruitment in the past, ideally on a thriving contracting desk which will support you to hit the ground running. However, if you’ve only worked on the recruitment of permanent roles in the past we’ll be happy to train you on pay & charge rates, the Australian Award system and how to navigate the back end management of a contracting desk.
Our clients love us, our candidates refer all their friends, we send out lots of thank-you gifts and we reward high achievements. Sure, there are some tough days (who hasn’t had a candidate pull out 5 mins before they’re due to start a new role after you worked on it for a week) but as a team, we work together and you’ll always leave at the end of each day feeling supported.
