As a Lead Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing environmental projects and initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable practices. - Lead and manage Environmental Engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments, studies, and audits to identify potential risks and develop mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design and decision-making processes.
- Drive the implementation of sustainable practices and technologies to improve environmental performance and resource efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior Environmental Engineers and project teams.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging environmental regulations, practices, and technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering, with a focus on the Oil & Energy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing environmental projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software and tools.
- Professional certifications such as PE and PMP are a plus.
